Overview:

This session of the PDPM Master Class Series will focus on the financial implications of coding (or failing to code) various PDPM characteristics through a review of high-risk variables impacting PDPM reimbursement.  Actual PDPM audit trends and case studies will be reviewed to identify areas of potential missed opportunity, process lapses, and supportive documentation vulnerabilities.  Operational strategies to promote PDPM compliance and coding accuracy in high impact areas will be emphasized.

Objectives:

1. Identify common coding errors and supportive documentation vulnerabilities related to PDPM reimbursement.
2. Review key operational strategies to drive compliance, coding and supportive documentation accuracy under PDPM in priority areas.

Continuing Education Hours:

Each session is NAB approved.  Proactive Medical Review will upload.  You must log-in and attend the entire webinar to receive 1.25 hours.  Please provide your NAB number at the time of registration.  Nurses attending the entire webinar will receive 1.25 hours for each webinar.  “This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Mississippi Nurses Foundation, Inc., an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.”
