Certified Dietary Manager

Claiborne County Senior Care is a 75-bed skilled nursing facility in Port Gibson, MS, with a job opportunity for a full-time Certified Dietary Manager responsible for the overall management and operation of the Food Services Department. This includes budget control, personnel management, food production, sanitation, equipment operation and related clinical work. Participates in the performance evaluation of employees working under his/her supervision. Responsible for implementing and applying the progressive discipline policy as appropriate and is consulted on all hiring and terminations under his/her area of supervision.

Reports to the Administrator. Salary is commensurate with experience. Education/Qualifications include:

Dietary Manager Certification is required
Must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Long-term care or acute-care nutritional assessment experience is preferred.
Long-term care or related food service experience is preferred.
Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations related to food service in long-term care environment.
Ability to work congenially with others;
Ability to exercise judgement when making decisions;
Possesses initiative and strong organizational skills.
